	The work shows arms of politicians in various positions. 
	The arms were used to support their ideologies and 
	messages in public political events. 
	International press photos were the origin of the used 
	material in this work. Nasan Tur choosed to cut out the 
	selected material to detach the gesture Ð a means of 
	communication known to any culture Ð from its original 
	context of political fomentation hiding its essential 
	affiliation: the who, why, what and when of the scene.
	The detail shows gestures lacking their origin context.

	Die Arbeit zeigt Arme von Politikern, die sie auf ihren 
	Kundgebungen zur rhetorischen Unterstuetzung ihrer Botschaften 
	und Ideologien einsetzen. Das Augangsmaterial der Arbeit 
	sind internationale Pressefotografien von Rednern waehrend 
	ihrer politischen Veranstaltungen. 
	Nasan Tur waehlt einen Ausschnitt aus dem vorgefundenen 
	Pressebildmaterial, der die Geste als in jeder Kultur 
	bekanntem Kommunikationsmedium aus ihrem urspruenglichen, 
	politisch-agitatorischen Zusammenhang loest und so die 
	grundsaetzliche Zugehoerigkeit, das Wer, Was, Wann und 
	Warum aus der Szene ausgeblendet. 
	Das Detail offenbart nur noch eine kontextfreie Geste.
